Mahshid Ghorbanian
is an Urban Designer and Planner with more than 12 years of professional and international experience. She currently works as an assistant professor of urban design and planning at Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran. She received her PhD degree in geography and urban planning from Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran, in 2013. She is the author or coauthor of more than 18 scholarly articles and monographs, and author or editor of 5 books, including 'City Center: From Theory to Urban Design Guidelines' (2014), 'Urban Districts in Iran' (2006), and 'Urban Climatology' (2005). Her research interests include urban morphology, Transportation Modeling and urban design techniques.
