Yuriko Yamamoto Baldin

 

is Dr. Sc in Mathematics (Differential Geometry), Senior Professor in Mathematics at Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil, where she developed academic career along with the investigation in Teacher Education for mathematics teachers. Since 2003 her interest has focused especially in developing teaching materials for teachers, the integration of technology in learning materials, interdisciplinary STEM education. The Problem-Solving in Lesson Study, learning community of school teachers, are among her research methodologies. She collaborates with international projects of Mathematics Education, being currently a member at large of the Executive Committee of ICMI-IMU in second term, after representing Brazil in ICMI.
